I’ve quite literally grown up going to RailsConf. My first Railsconf was in 2009 in Las Vegas (if you ever meet me, ask me about meeting Billy Mays), and I was fortunate to attend a panel from the GitHub that changed my life. Someone asked them - “What was your biggest regret in building GitHub so far?” One of the founders responded - “Building RubyGems in repos”, or something to that affect.
